Youth for Peace

The Youth for Peace programs within Roc the Peace were created to help young adults and youth in our community who are at risk or have suffered the lost of a close friend or family member due to violence, suicide, or prison. The goal of our program is to provide a safe space for our youth to learn to cope with trauma, provide support and guidance, and to provide opportunities outside of the norm.

Here at Roc the Peace, we understand the challenges and pressures our children face in today’s society, and that is why we started this program. Our program will allow our youth and young adults to learn how to deal with different emotions, how to handle money and finances, more in depth learning about trades and higher education, and how to take care of yourself mentally and physically.

Mission Statement

To mentor and advocate for our youth while leading them to a positive path by creating a safe and inclusive space where young people can discover their purpose, develop their talents, and impact the world around them.
