An 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed during the overnight on Rochester’s north side.

The man, whose name has not been released, was found on the sidewalk at the corner of Hudson Avenue and Avenue D about 12 a.m. morning, said Rochester Police Lt. Frank Alberti.

The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead, Alberti said. No arrest has been made and no further information was available.

It was the second fatal stabbing in the Rochester in less than 24 hours. About 1:50 a.m. Saturday, a 31-year-old man was found stabbed on Post Avenue. He died about 2:30 a.m. Saturday at Strong.

A 30-year-old woman is in custody in relation to that incident, Rochester Police said.

Had the cops been doing their jobs instead of harassing my family last night, this young man’s life could have been spared. But they were too busy messing with my family about parking on a patch of dirt that they consider city property instead of patrolling the streets. This happened as they were at my mom’s house 5-7 cars deep, 1.5 miles away from us.
